Hi David,
Thank you for the excellent enzyme email. Very important points – I'm wondering what is the best way to mineralize the body – major and minor minerals? Celtic Sea Salt or Himalayan salt? Elimination of all sugar? Use of hydrochloric acid and pancreatic enzymes? Food combining? The better a food is digested, the more nutrition one receives, correct? Should one have a blood or tissue mineral analysis to know what mineral levels one currently has – and from that determine what foods to consume to help balance the minerals – and what foods one could consume but may not have any nutritional value because those mineral levels are OK already?
How does one go about systematically increasing mineral levels?
I urinated into a glass and noticed that it’s generally darker than I’d like even though I drink at least two quarts of R.O. and carbon filtered water a day (I don’t drink anything else). I have been eating four to eight oz. of raw almonds, pecans, walnuts, brazil nuts, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds nearly every day for 20 years. I’ve recently started soaking the almonds. I’m not currently taking any hydrochloric acid or pancreatic enzyme supplements. Could this be affecting my enzyme reserves? Should I be taking hydrochloric acid and pancreatic enzymes? If so, how much do you recommend?
I’ve also noticed that when leaving the urine in the glass for a while, that there is quite a bit of minerals settle at the bottom of the glass. Is it possible my body is eliminating too many minerals – maybe due to pH levels? How do I determine what I need to do to improve my mineral levels?
What foods and superfoods tend to mineralize the body the most?
You mentioned that an iron deficiency can cause intolerance to cold. How can I improve my iron levels so I can handle the cold weather better and hopefully hot weather?
Do you know what mineral(s) I need to eliminate the cracking in my fingertips (where skin opens up) during winter months? Thank you for your assistance.
