Hi David,
Thankyou for the first installment of your e-course. I am relatively new to this health stuff as I've always just gone along and eaten and drank what I like when I like. At nearly 40 I'm by no means un-fit but I could be fitter and healthier. So I have been educating myself over the last few months and one author who's books I have been reading is Dr Norman Walker. Now there seems to be a conflict of interests between yours and his ideas, when it comes to water and in particular natural spring water full of minerals. Dr Walker advises through his book, 'Water can undermine your health', that the minerals found in natural water can be harmful to the body. Here is a piece from his book -
'Enough Minerals in water to choke-up the body
So great is the amount of lime in spring water, that the quantity taken daily would alone be sufficient to choke up the system so as to bring on decrepitude and death long before we arrived at 20 years of age, were it not for the kidneys and other secreting organs throwing it off in considerable quantities.'
he also goes on to say that we can get all the minerals and vitamins we need from fresh fruit and vegetable juices and that Distilled Water is the only water we should be drinking as this flushes the system of toxins and excess minerals and leaves the cells with the right amount of vitamins and minerals they need.
Having listened to your audio and now reading this e-course you obviously have a different view in regards to minerals in the body. I would really appreciate your views on Dr Walkers interpretation and why he would be giving such differing advice to yourself.
For someone who is just starting out in the healthy lifestyle this is all a little confusing. Which is actually a good place to be, as greater understanding precedes confusion. So I'm sure the answers will come.
Look forward to your reply.
Warm regards,
Rich Vincent
