Arginine or L-Arginine is considered a semi-essential amino acid that is obtained from the diet and is necessary for protein synthesis in the body. L-arginine is produced in the kidneys and to a lesser extent, in the liver. In general, plant proteins contain more L-Arginine than animal sources of protein.

    I’d like to comment on arginine that it should be used with caution for those with mental illness’.I have schizo affective and major depression and my experience taking arginine made me quite agitated, unless it was just a reaction with my garbage pharmaceuticals.

    I seriously question that this is the best brand. Where are the ingredients? Where is the organic label? How do we know if there are adequate amounts of citruline in it to even make the arginine active in the body? Their website looks a little sketchy to me. Why the high price? $99 for a mystery product is a bit much!
