How much do you really know about your bones? Are you taking measures to make sure they are strong and healthy? Whether you are or aren’t read on…

Bone density isn’t something we usually think of until we break one or have a problem come up like osteoporosis. Did you know that Osteoporosis is estimated to affect 200 million women worldwide (44 million people in the US) – approximately one-tenth of women aged 60, one-fifth of women aged 70, two-fifths of women aged 80 and two-thirds of women aged 90. 1 in 2 women over 50 will experience osteoporotic fractures, as will 1 in 2 men.

These numbers are outrageous! The good news is that it’s possible to improve bone density at ANY age but the sooner you start working on strengthening those bones the better.

In today’s podcast our resident nutritionist Shawn Stevenson give you the tools to make sure your bones are strong and healthy so you won’t ever have to worry about Osteoporosis or low bone density.

Please help us spread this information far and wide so more people are aware of real, natural health solutions to this awful problem.

When you listen to the podcast below you’ll discover:

  • The importance of bone health.
  • What your bones are made of (different than what you were told).

This is excellent information for everyone to understand and incorporate into daily practice. There is so much misinformation being circulated and it can get confusing. The majority of people have absolutely no idea of the importance of bone health and especially how it affects them as they age.
Thank you for reminding and reinforcing in me the strategies I need to practice for healthy bones on a daily basis. Prevention of disease is key.

Starshine, that was an excellent note, and a call for all of us to use our higher intelligence… have razor sharp focus… and see through the clutter of misinformation. It takes people like yourself to spread the word with passion and grace. Thanks a million for all that you do!

Shawn, I undertook 3 detox programs a few years ago and am now battling serious osteoporosis.
This seemed to happen quite suddenly and I have wondered if those detox sessions added to the problem?

Phyllis, you may be right on the money with your assumption that the “detox” program took a toll on your bones. I’m not sure what your program consisted of, but if you don’t have the right environment in your system to aid in detoxification of acidic compounds, your bones are going to be a chief place for your body to look. But no worries, irregardless. The focus is on what you can do NOW to build your bones back up. Utilize this information in this podcast (it’s actually FREE but could cost you thousands of dollars to find this stuff out elsewhere), and pay special attention to the exercise part because you need the right stimuli to drive the nutrients into your bones.

Keep me posted on your results!
