Cinnamon Pecan Bowls

Cinnamon pecan bowls deliver the warmth and flavor of a gooey cinnamon roll without any butter, sugar, or gluten. Try these on a cold night for a delicious dessert or as a weekend morning treat with your coffee (the Healthy Latte of course!). This recipe makes four 1/4 cup servings.

Ingredients:

1 cup brown rice
1 tablespoon coconut oil
Dash salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Maple to taste
1/3 cup chopped pecans

Optional:
Top with almond milk

 

Heat the coconut oil in a pan. Add the cooked brown rice. Add the salt, vanilla, and maple. Add cinnamon to taste. Allow the maple to reduce a bit. Add pecans. Serve warm. Top with fresh almond milk if you like. Makes 1 serving.
