I’ve had fibromyalgia for 15 years and have found that taking a bath with “EPSOM SALTS” is my main way of getting this mineral of magnesium into me.
I learned many years ago that I couldn’t tolorate ingesting mag.
Thank you for this post..I hope people realize how IMPORTANT magnesium is to our health.
Thanks for sharing that personal experience, Kathleen. It’s those stories that make people really pay attention… and more importantly, take some action. Thanks again for sharing your voice!
I want to share this info with you I went to a homeopath because I wanted an overall check and frankly I had issues with my gums, besides no success with the peridontist and the inability to find a good dentist nearby, I was put on a minute dose of trace mineral which I took sublingually am and at night I was on trace amounts of a calcium form( iam too lazy to check the exact name at the moment) (2 days now
a good side effect my blood pressure is now back to normal ( I had developed hypertension after being ill
I intend to continue monitoring this hopefully this will be a permanent outcome
It’s always great to see the BENEFICIAL side-effects when people give their body something that it’s been deficient in. Good things start to happen that seem totally unrelated, but it’s all within the matrix of your wonderful body. Great stuff, Valerie, and thanks for sharing!
Wow, I hadn’t realized that I could comment these podcasts. I’ve been listening your every podcast now, and I’m beginning to fathom, what Rudolf Steiner meant, when he said: “For every illness, somewhere in the world there exists a plant which is the cure”. I have more or less only accepted my downsides for granted, be it a volatile temperament or lack of libido, or a flu or anything. Now I see, that I don’t have to accept any state of feeling bad of any kind IN MY MIND, because every downside might as well result from a deficiency. There is a cure.
As wise mr. Tolman, and many other health expert troughout the history has put it, all sicknesses derive from poisoning or deficiency, or in greater aspect, chaos, imbalance. Thank you so much mr. Stevenson! Or is it doctor..? 😛
From Finland, with many thankses, Jaakko Suorsa

Dear Steve my thanks to u for the info. I received from listening to the podcast on Magnesium. I had an idea on the benefits of Magnesium but this podcast really showed I knew nothing as I should. my question is since I propogate a healthy lifestyle to my friends and brethren. We from the Caribbean can share its benefits, can I order a large amount, I’m paying for it of course. And this is one way of sharing this good product without the hassle of having to find out which is best and the disappointment of using a synthetic form which will further damage and impaired system.
I await your reply.
Are Epsom Salts also an effective way of getting enough magnesium, either ingested or soaking in the bath?
Thank you so much Shawn – you always give us the best advice.
Thanks, so much for all u do for us, you really care. God Bless u and yours. I soak in Epsom Salts and it has kept me going with all the pain, I had. It is a real relief, I also take adult stem cell nutrition, and it has really helped repair and replenish my body, thanks again. Thanks so much.

You actually make it appear so easy with your presentation however I find this topic to be actually one thing that I believe I’d by no means understand. It kind of feels too complicated and extremely large for me. I am taking a look ahead for your next publish, I will attempt to get the hang of it!
Hello Shawn! I absolutely love your podcasts…both ones where you generously share your expertise in a plain English, “ready to take to heart and put to use” way, and also the enlightening interviews with other Holistic Health experts. I download them an burn them onto CD so I can benefit from your info on days when I take my wife to work, giving her a break from her 1hr commute.
The link to download this podcast, however, opens up a new page that activates the Quicktime Player instead of downloading the podcast onto my hard drive…grrrr… Thanks for all you do!
Easy to fix, Alex. Instead of normal left clicking on the link, do a right click, and from that list select the option that says something like “save link target to”. Then a dialog box will pop up that asks you where on your hard drive you want to save the MP3 podcast file. Make your choice, and then watch the download dialog show you the progress as the file gets downloaded to your preferred hard drive location.
