- 8 ounces mineral oil

Use a double-boiler in melting the beeswax in mineral oil. Separate the upper pan and cool the mixture but make sure that the mixture does not skim over the surface. After completely mixing the materials you may allow the combination to cool and the product may be stored in a jar with a secured lid. - 1 teaspoon tea tree essential oil
- 2 teaspoons sandalwood essential oil
- 1/4 teaspoon spruce essential oil
- 1/4 teaspoon lavender essential oil
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon essential oil
- 1/2 teaspoon grapefruit essential oil
- 4 clean socks
- 4 cups natural clay cat litter
- 4 rubber bands
Mix the clay with the essential oils and let the mixture age for a week. Then the mixture is ready for use so you may put them in the clean socks and then seal those with the rubber bands.

This suggested home recipe can make 2 ½ quarts of the mixture. This mixture is good if placed in the closet, dresser drawers and linen closet as well. A suggested use of oakmoss (lichen), patchouli, myrrh, cedar, frankincense and vetiver is recommended for closet or cabinet with wool and fur garments. If your budget allows you may also use sandalwood. Any of these all-natural herbs needs to be crushed or chopped finely after completely drying them. The recipe may be of highest quality with the following proportion:
- 2 cups peppermint leaves
- 4 cups lavender flowers
- 1 cup patchouli leaves
- 2 cups rosemary leaves
- 1/4 cup thyme leaves
- 1/2 cup whole cloves
- 10 drops white camphor essential oil
- 5 drops clove essential oil
- 20 drops peppermint essential oil
Use a large glass or stainless steel bowl in mixing the above mentioned flora (flower) and foliage (leaves). On a separate jar mix the essential oils and stir well to ensure the uniformity of the solution of oils with the mixed flowers and leaves. After thorough mixing, place the combination in a glass jar and age it for several weeks. Make sure that the container has a secured lid and it must be placed in a cool dry place.
