Below are 8 kitchen staples to stay on track in any situation.
1. Bragg’s liquid aminos
Skip the soy sauce and reach for Braggs. Most soy sauce is filled with highly processed ingredients, many of them have been genetically modified. It’s also loaded with sodium. Braggs is a great organic alternative and is rich with amino acids and naturally occurring sodium.
2. Coconut aminos
Similar to Braggs, this is only slightly sweet, making it a great alternative to teriyaki sauce. Teriyaki sauce is loaded with sugar and additives that are VERY addictive. Coconut Aminos, on the other hand, are made from coconuts, filled with amino acids, organic, slightly sweet, and super yummy.
3. Organic, raw coconut oil
Coconut oil is truly a magical food that’s a great alternative to almost all other oils. It has been shown to enhance brain function, increase energy expenditure, and much more. It may even reduce your appetite. When I crave a sweet in the evening, I will have two teaspoons of coconut oil instead and it works like a charm every time.
4. Organic liquid stevia

Avoid this by using organic liquid stevia instead. It’s great for sweetening beverages and treats and for baking. Organic almond butter is a great snack! It’s slightly sweet, and filled with protein and healthy fats, which are essential for high brain functioning! Pair it with apples, and celery for some added fiber!
